Oil company Shell CR yesterday submitted an appeal against a September 11 decision of the Anti-Monopoly Office (UOHS) to impose penalties totaling CZK 300 mln on a number of gas station operators for an alleged cartel agreement.

The highest, CZK 65 mln fine, was imposed on Shell, which, together with the other petrol retailers, denies any cooperation in pricing policy.
