The average wage rose 7.4 % y/y to CZK 15,442, a real growth of 6.7 % after discounting inflation.

In the business sector real wages rose by 6.0% y/y, while in the state sector they rose by 10.5% thanks to the March increase in the pay tariff tables. Wages rose by the most in the health, public administration, and education sectors.

The lowest rises were in agriculture, catering, banking, and insurance.
