Court acquits Kreditni Banka managers in fraud case

The Regional Court in Plzen yesterday fully acquitted of fraud charges the former managers of bankrupted Kreditni Banka Jan Peterek and Milan Nenadel and Motoinvest board member Jan Dienstl, who were charged with fraud.

The three were charged with fraud in connection with the closure of an option contract on the sale of shares between Motoinvest and the Kreditni Banka, whereby the bank lost CZK 10 mln.

According to the court, the accused had genuinely attempted to get the bank out of a crisis by means of doubtful transactions.
